Vintage large brooch, Brussels, featuring black glass and gold metal colour secoratíns, created from glass and metal. The jewellery is of traditional Czech manufacture, originating directly from the Jablonec region. We have modified this brooch for use in dog show rings.
I purchase these brooches for you from local finds and auctions and transform them into unique breeders' jewellery. However, it is essential to remember that these are pre-owned brooches and bear signs of age and use. They may have scratches, especially on the back, slightly bent pins, or a delicate patina. I usually purchase the brooches in their original, uncleaned state and carefully select them to ensure they are well-preserved. Before being modified into dog show ring brooches with suspenders, I gently clean them to be sold in fully functional condition. However, none of this detracts from their quality, exceptionality, and, in many cases, uniqueness.
